Booking Policies
This travel policy outlines the requirements regarding booking, travel insurance, cancellations, and refunds. It is intended to promote the health, safety, and security of all attendees of our trips while traveling domestically and abroad.
Booking Policy
Trip reservations can be made on our website by simply clicking on a trip link and following the instructions to book or by reaching out to us for a private trip consultation. All bookings must be made through our official website, authorized agents, or customer service team.
Booking deposits are based on the date of booking and the date of the trip:
- 9+ months prior to trip, 25% deposit
- 6+ to 9 months prior to trip, 50% deposit
- 3+ to 6 months prior to trip, 75% deposit
- <3 months prior to the trip, 100% deposit (payment in full)
Bookings will be confirmed once the deposit payment is received, and a confirmation email is issued.
Changes to bookings must be requested in writing via email at info@gonegetaways.com and are subject to availability. An administrative fee may apply for changes made after booking confirmation.
Final balance payments are due 90 days prior to travel. Any payments made more than 5 days late are subject to a $50 late fee. Payments over 10 days late may result in booking cancellation with applicable cancellation fees.
Airfare is usually not included in the price of the trip. Participants join us from all over the world, making it impossible to offer a single trip price that includes airfare for all guests. Participants are solely responsible for securing their flights and to comply with all country, airline, or vendor requirements (e.g. passports, visas, vaccinations and documentation).
Gone Getaways LLC is not liable for increased fares due to delays in booking or cancellations resulting from failure to secure flights or meet travel requirements. No refund or credit will be issued if participants fail to meet these requirements or if changes in requirements lead to cancellation. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance immediately after booking to protect against unforeseen cancellations or emergencies.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory/required on all Gone Getaways LLC trips; this is to protect participants and their investment from any last-minute, unforeseen cancellation and to protect them in the event of an unfortunate accident or inconvenience before or during the trip.
Gone Getaways LLC does not provide health, life, or liability insurance for trip attendees. All participants are required to secure travel insurance from a provider of their choice to cover potential trip cancellations or medical emergencies abroad.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Gone Getaways, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while ensuring fairness to all our clients. Please read the terms below carefully:
- 24-Hour Refund Guarantee
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking are eligible for a full refund.
- Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of cancellation approval.
- Credit for Future Travel
- Cancellations made after the 24-hour period, are not eligible for a refund. However, if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the trip date, a credit equal to the amount paid (minus 50% cancellation fee), will be issued which can be applied toward future travel with Gone Getaways LLC.
- The credit is valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. It is not transferable to another traveler.
- To redeem the credit, please contact our customer service team when planning your next trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the trip date are subject to 100% cancellation fee and forfeiture of all payments made.
- How to Cancel
- All requests for cancellation must be received in writing via email at info@gonegetaways.com.
- Include the booking reference number and any additional required information to process the cancellation efficiently.
- Exclusions and Conditions
- Some promotional or discounted bookings may be non-refundable and ineligible for future travel credit. Please refer to the specific terms and conditions associated with each booking.
- Any additional services or fees (e.g., private airport transfers, processing fees, trip consultation fees, etc.) are non-refundable.
Gone Getaways LLC reserves the right to cancel or postpone travel and is not responsible for cancellations or changes due to extenuating circumstances and events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest).

By booking with Gone Getaways LLC, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
